You’ll have a consistent assignment at a single school site within Golden Gate City or Immokalee, ensuring you can build strong, ongoing relationships with your caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure required
- Prior experience as a school-based SLP strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with a diverse K-12 student population
- Ability to provide both direct speech/language therapy and evaluations
- Up-to-date fingerprints (previous FL school district prints may qualify via AHCA Clearinghouse)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments and re-evaluations as needed
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals and progress
- Maintaining thorough and timely session documentation and progress reports
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing consultation to educational teams
Additional Details:
- On-site role—no virtual assignments for this position
- Flexible scheduling opportunities: up to 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday (7 hours/day)
- Assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027
