School Speech Language Pathologist - Fort Lauderdale, Florida

This position offers full-time and part-time options to fit your schedule:
• Provide SLP services 4 days per week, 32 hours per week, at a welcoming charter school setting
• Alternatively, contribute 5 days per week, 40 hours per week, at a modern charter school dedicated to student support
Skills & Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication abilities and the desire to collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow professionals
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among a diverse student population
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide therapeutic interventions
• Work closely with educational staff and parents to support student goals
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
• Offer consultation and training to staff regarding communication strategies
