Speech-Language Pathologist in Boulder, CO
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for the current school year, serving students in a significant need program at two local schools in Boulder, CO. This role involves providing speech-language services to a diverse group of approximately 50 students, primarily at the high school and middle school levels. The position supports on-site service delivery focused on students requiring targeted interventions.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Two days per week at the high school
- Three days per week at the middle school
- Onsite services only
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based therapy tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in meetings related to student IEPs and multidisciplinary planning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC or equivalent certification)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with high school and middle school populations
- Strong knowledge of language disorders and intervention strategies suited to adolescents
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students with varying needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
