Support communication development and make an impact on student success as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based setting. This contract role offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated education team to help children thrive. You’ll work 35 hours each week, supporting a manageable caseload of 48 students, and play a pivotal part in their academic and social growth.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in California (CCC-SLP required)
- Prior experience in a K-12 school environment preferred
- Exemplary communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to student needs
- Commitment to evidence-based practices in assessment and intervention
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
