School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Fontana, California
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a speech-language pathologist where you’ll make a daily difference for students from kindergarten through high school. This in-person role spans two supportive school communities, allowing you to provide vital communication services and foster student growth. You’ll work school-day hours, supporting up to 55 students across Heritage School and Vista Verde in the Victor Valley/High Desert region.
Ideal candidates hold an active state SLP license and a current or pending CTC Credential (preliminary CTC is acceptable). While a CCC is preferred, talented CFs with the necessary credentials and supervision from their agency will also be considered. This position enables direct impact—no virtual or SLPA placements—ensuring meaningful, hands-on engagement with students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Current, preliminary, or pending CTC Credential (must be active before start date)
- Preference for ASHA CCCs; open to Clinical Fellows with proper supervision
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong commitment to onsite support, collaboration, and individualized care
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services at assigned school sites
- Manage a caseload not exceeding 55 students across two locations
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress tracking per regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
