Enhance the student experience across elementary and high school levels in the Victor Valley and High Desert area as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working within a supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity spans the academic year, providing dedicated services at both Heritage School and Vista Verde, with manageable caseloads and the chance to make a meaningful difference in communication and language development for students from kindergarten through high school.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California state SLP license required
- CTC Credential mandatory (preliminary or clear; pending credentials considered if issued before start)
- CCCs preferred; strong clinical fellow (CF) candidates with proper credentials also considered
- Experience with K-12 student populations in school settings highly valued
- Ability to travel between two school sites
- No virtual, teletherapy, or SLPA supervision responsibility
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person speech-language services for a diverse caseload of up to 55 students
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, maintain documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student progress
- Provide ongoing communication support, adapting strategies to varied learning needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
