Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license with current GaPSC certification (for SLPs and SLP-CFs)
  • SLPAs may apply with a Bachelor’s degree and GaPSC certificate
  • Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) and experienced professionals alike
  • Experience working in educational or program classroom environments preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and success through evidence-based practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve students at two high schools, focusing on approximately 45 students with varied service needs
  • Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support, including 1:1 and small group sessions as prescribed
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor, assess, and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Maintain thorough, timely records while adhering to district policies and relevant state guidelines
