Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license with current GaPSC certification (for SLPs and SLP-CFs)
- SLPAs may apply with a Bachelor’s degree and GaPSC certificate
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) and experienced professionals alike
- Experience working in educational or program classroom environments preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth and success through evidence-based practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve students at two high schools, focusing on approximately 45 students with varied service needs
- Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support, including 1:1 and small group sessions as prescribed
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Maintain thorough, timely records while adhering to district policies and relevant state guidelines
