School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Kennesaw, Georgia

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure and professional license (Georgia PSC required)
- Active ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience (or strong clinical practicum) in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting a diverse caseload of 45-55 middle and high school students
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services in accordance with established goals
- Monitor, document, and report students’ progress regularly
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Provide consultation and training for school staff as needed
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and district requirements
