School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Flower Mound, Texas
A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a speech-language pathologist (SLP-CCC) to support elementary school students in the Flower Mound, TX area for the upcoming academic year. This full-time position runs from August 12th, 2026 through May 19th, 2027, working weekdays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM CST. You’ll collaborate with a supportive onsite SLPA who will assist in managing your caseload, helping you deliver targeted interventions and communication support to students.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- State licensure for Texas, or eligibility to obtain in time for the school year
- Prior experience working in elementary school settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Willingness to participate in interviews promptly (today or tomorrow)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication needs among elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) per student requirements
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in partnership with the SLPA
- Maintain thorough progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student success
