What we’re seeking:
- Active Missouri SLP License or active SLPA License is required
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric caseloads, especially with non-verbal students and AAC technology
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule and adapt to changing assignments
- Willingness to support 1-2 school sites as needed
- Preparedness to complete district-mandated credentialing, including fingerprinting and a technology agreement
- Team mindset for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
Core responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to K-5 students following IEP recommendations
- Document student progress and service delivery in compliance with district standards
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement communication strategies
- Collaborate with classroom staff, integrating AAC devices into daily student routines
- Adjust service delivery models as caseload demands shift
School year schedule runs ASAP through 5/28/27, with a consistent 37.5-hour work week and a manageable school assignment.
