Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This role focuses on providing both supervision and direct therapy for a diverse caseload of approximately 101 students, with the assistance of a dedicated SLPA. The assignment spans from August 27, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
Seeking candidates with:
- An active, valid Texas SLP license
- Experience working in school settings (preferred: pediatrics, school-based SLP, CCC, or CFY)
- Ability to supervise and collaborate with SLPA staff
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized therapy
- Strong communication skills, both with students and multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to provide direct therapy along with supervision responsibilities
- Openness to working with Clinical Fellows (CFs)—support and mentorship available
Key responsibilities:
- Direct therapy and intervention delivery for elementary students
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Supervising SLPA activities and offering guidance as needed
- Conducting standardized assessments and progress monitoring
- Regularly collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families
- Completing all documentation and compliance requirements in a timely manner
Compensation for this contract is set at an attractive $50 per hour, with weekly pay for your convenience.
