Pediatric School Speech Therapist - Florence, Arizona
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) position is available at an elementary school in Florence, AZ, for the current school year with the potential to transition to a permanent role. Qualifications:
- Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist License with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Note: Candidates must be licensed SLPs; Certified Family Specialists (CFs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible for this role
Position Details:
- Full-time, up to 40 hours weekly
- Monday through Friday schedule with school hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM to 12:45 PM
- Serve elementary-aged students with a caseload cap of 57, including approximately 15 students identified with Speech-Language Impairments (SLI)
- Work is based at one school site (not itinerant)
- Supported by an onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistant two days a week
- Responsibilities include direct therapy, conducting assessments and evaluations, and active participation in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Contract duration through May 22, 2026, with immediate start date available
