Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution (official transcripts required before district submission)
- Valid (or pending) Michigan SLP license; NSY applicants must provide proof of completed licensure application
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) considered
- Experience or interest in working with K-12 populations
- Must feel confident working onsite, providing both one-on-one and group therapy
- Preferred: Previous supervision experience or an established supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech/language therapy (individual and group) for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff for student support
- Develop student IEP goals, attend MET/IEP meetings, and maintain strict documentation
- Conduct evaluations, write reports, and recommend resources for urban students
- Support students using AAC systems and provide related in-service training
- Travel across assigned school buildings to reach all assigned caseloads
