A School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide maternity leave coverage at an elementary school in Hamburg, NJ. This contract position runs ASAP through May 29, 2026, with a weekly schedule of 32.5 hours (7:50 AM – 3:05 PM, Monday through Friday). The caseload includes students from Pre-K through 8th grade.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reports in compliance with state regulations
- Ensuring full adherence to state licensure requirements as a fully licensed SLP (no Clinical Fellows or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants)
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Current state license in Speech-Language Pathology with full credentials (no CF or SLPA)
- Prior experience working in school settings, preferably with early childhood through middle school populations
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and provide high-quality clinical services
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across the school community
