School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Fairfield, Connecticut
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support an elementary caseload in a school setting located in Fairfield, CT. This contract position offers an immediate start and presents an excellent opportunity to work with young students to address speech and language development needs.
Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions for students with speech, language, and communication disorders. Collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) will be essential. The role requires strong documentation skills and the ability to monitor and report on student progress.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
- Knowledge of IDEA and educational guidelines related to speech-language services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
