This opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists interested in school-based roles with travel to multiple locations in Fairfield, CA. The assignment starts ASAP and runs through June 5, 2026, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Candidates will provide speech-language services to a diverse caseload ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade, with student numbers approximately between 35 and 55 depending on the grade levels served.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders for students in Pre-K to 12th grade.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Managing caseloads across multiple school buildings.
- Maintaining thorough and up-to-date documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Delivering onsite services to replace current virtual SLP support, ensuring direct and consistent student interaction.
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification/licensure appropriate for school settings.
- Experience working in special education or schools is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and work across multiple school environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
