Make a positive impact working onsite as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract opportunity entails supporting students with diverse needs in engaging educational environments, with caseloads that include special day classes at various grade levels and programs focused on both intensive and mild/moderate needs.
You'll have the option to work at one or two school sites, depending on your preference and skill set, providing essential speech and language services to help students achieve their fullest potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology certification and licensure (CCC-SLP) in California
- Previous school-based experience or strong interest in school settings
- Solid understanding of supporting students in Special Day Classes (SDC), including both intensive and mild/moderate needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in Special Day Classes (SDC), ranging from elementary to high school and post-secondary levels
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and deliver targeted interventions
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ academic and communication goals
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development activities
This position is fully onsite, full-time (37.5 hours/week), and runs from August 11, 2026, through June 6, 2027. Be a key voice in the success and growth of students in a supportive school community.
