Speech Language Pathologist in Fabens, TX
This opportunity is for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech services for PreK through 12th-grade students in a school setting located in Fabens, TX. The position is contract-based, requiring on-site presence and a commitment to full working days, with part-time candidates considered only if full days can be worked.
Responsibilities include delivering speech communication services primarily to high school students who have gone an entire year without speech services. The role demands managing a substantial caseload of approximately 64 students, including addressing a backlog of cases and ensuring compliance with IEPs. There will also be an option to serve K–8 students with a caseload of about 40, potentially at a second location north-east of I10.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working in a school environment preferred
- Ability to manage large caseloads and perform IEP-related documentation and cleanup
- Strong communication skills and commitment to student progress
- Bilingual skills are highly valued but not mandatory
Location: Fabens, TX, with assignments in the El Paso Lower Valley area.
