A full-semester contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve middle school students in Issaquah, WA. This onsite role is ideal for an SLP with a school-based background seeking to impact student communication and learning in a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language services to middle school students four days per week.
  • Dedicate Mondays to supporting homebound students, including those using AAC devices and eye gaze technology.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all assigned students.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP license and Educator Skills Assessment (ESA) certification through OSPI.
  • Experience working in a school setting with children, particularly at the secondary level.
  • Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies to support homebound students is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite during designated school hours.

Location and Schedule:

  • Issaquah, Washington.
  • Full-time position with hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Tuesday through Friday; Mondays start at 8:30 AM.
  • Four days spent at the middle school and one day dedicated to homebound students.
