School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Issaquah, Washington

A full-semester contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve middle school students in Issaquah, WA. This onsite role is ideal for an SLP with a school-based background seeking to impact student communication and learning in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to middle school students four days per week.
- Dedicate Mondays to supporting homebound students, including those using AAC devices and eye gaze technology.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all assigned students.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license and Educator Skills Assessment (ESA) certification through OSPI.
- Experience working in a school setting with children, particularly at the secondary level.
- Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies to support homebound students is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite during designated school hours.
Location and Schedule:
- Issaquah, Washington.
- Full-time position with hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Tuesday through Friday; Mondays start at 8:30 AM.
- Four days spent at the middle school and one day dedicated to homebound students.
