Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Arlington Heights, IL
This opportunity is for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing services to K-12 students with moderate to severe needs. The position is based in Arlington Heights, IL, serving one school location within the Chicago area, specifically Wheeling/Palatine. This is a contract role requiring 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students with moderate to severe communication needs.
- Utilize teletherapy and in-person methods to support student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school policies.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working within school settings, supporting K-12 students.
- Proficiency in teletherapy techniques and tools.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule & Location:
- Part-time, 15 hours per week.
- Monday through Friday.
- One location in Arlington Heights, IL.
- Serving the moderate to severe student population in the Chicago area (Wheeling/Palatine).
