Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado SLP license with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) endorsement (must have documentation ready)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Experience supporting students in a school-based environment, especially with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment, intervention, and therapy services tailored to students with speech and language needs, both individually and in group settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with families, teachers, and school staff
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, interventions, and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with goal development and progress reporting
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment where each student’s communication skills can flourish
