Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Kansas SLP license, or eligibility for licensure before the assignment start date
- CCC certification preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-age populations is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and effectively document progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to elementary-age students in small groups and individual sessions
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations, reporting findings to both parents and academic staff
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Track progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state policies
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student communication needs
- Split your time between two elementary schools with the flexibility to plan your own schedule
