Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time opportunity runs from August 2026 through May 2027, offering the chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of young learners. You’ll enjoy the flexibility of designing your own schedule while splitting your time between two welcoming schools, working with a manageable caseload of approximately 65 students.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Kansas SLP license (or eligibility prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
- Experience or passion for serving elementary-age children in a school-based setting
- Strong assessment and therapy planning skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Willingness to travel between two school locations (as needed)
- SLPAs are not accepted for these positions
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Adapt and manage your schedule across two school sites
