This contract opportunity is tailored for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a difference within school communities. You'll work on-site at a school in the Golden Gate City or Immokalee area, engaging directly with K-12 students and collaborating closely with educators and families.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and current Florida Department of Health SLP license required
- Prior experience working within school settings (K-12 preferred)
- Comfortable providing both individualized and group direct speech services
- Strong evaluation, assessment, and documentation skills
- Up-to-date on all state and district credentialing—including fingerprint clearance via the AHCA Clearinghouse and the ability to obtain a JLA badge before the assignment begins
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services and interventions to students as outlined in IEPs
- Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluations as needed
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with school and district requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to implement intervention strategies and support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and student support initiatives
This contract spans the full 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 11, 2026, and concluding May 27, 2027. Flexible full-time scheduling available (up to 35 hours per week, 7 hours daily), giving you balance while you focus on impactful work.
