You’ll work on-site (no virtual assignments) in either Golden Gate City or Immokalee, providing essential speech services and evaluations for students from kindergarten through high school.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist license required
- Experience delivering SLP services in a school setting preferred
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and writing detailed evaluation reports
- Flexible attitude and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Completion of required fingerprinting (prior prints via AHCA Clearinghouse may be valid)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students (K-12)
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations as needed
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain organized documentation and report progress to educational teams and families
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Foster an encouraging, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment
This assignment covers up to 35 hours per week (7 hours per day) at a single campus site, allowing you to form strong connections with your students and school staff over the course of the academic year.
