A school near Estero, FL is searching for two dedicated Speech Language Pathologists to join their team for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is an on-site, contract opportunity serving one school location within Golden Gate City or Immokalee, working directly with students from kindergarten through high school.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the Florida Department of Health (SLP, FL DOH)
- Previous experience within a school setting highly valued
- Up-to-date fingerprint clearance required (candidates with prior Florida school districts screening may be eligible for transfer)
- Ability to work on-site; telepractice/virtual services are not available for this position
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to providing inclusive, student-centered support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
- Engage in school-based meetings as needed to promote students’ educational success
