Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Estero, FL

Seeking two dedicated Speech Language Pathologists to provide essential speech services for K-12 students in a supportive school setting. This contract role begins August 11, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027, offering up to 35 hours per week at one school site in either Golden Gate City or Immokalee. You’ll make a significant impact by delivering therapy and conducting evaluations on-site, working closely with students, educators, and other school specialists.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP license required
- Experience in a school-based setting with K-12 students preferred
- Strong evaluation and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Completion of fingerprinting through the AHCA Clearinghouse required (verification of previous prints possible)
- Willingness to apply for and obtain JLA badge before start date (allow up to 10 business days after fingerprint clearance)
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Commitment to an on-site role; virtual services are not available for this assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Serve as a resource to school staff and families regarding speech and language development
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student care plans
