Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure for SLP in New Mexico
- PDE (Public Education Department) certificate—please be prepared to submit a copy with your application
- Previous experience working in a school-based environment preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services within elementary and early childhood settings
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary team members to support students’ progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
