School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Escondido, California
Multiple full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for the 2026-2027 school year in Escondido, CA. These contract positions serve students from PreK through 8th grade, providing vital speech and language support within school settings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in PreK-8th grades
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating inclusive learning environments
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license or certification appropriate for school settings
- Experience working with school-aged students, preferably PreK through 8th grade
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and educators
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and maintain detailed documentation
