A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in school settings, serving primarily elementary and high school students in the Denver, Colorado area. This contract position offers the chance to work within diverse educational environments while providing essential speech and language services to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning

Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA CCC)
  • Certified by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) for school settings
  • Experience working with elementary and high school students preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage caseload and maintain documentation in a timely manner

Location and Contract Details:

  • Position based in the Denver, Colorado area, primarily serving schools in and around Aurora
  • Contract assignment through the remainder of the current school year
  • Travel involved to multiple school locations within the region
