Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Binghamton, NY

We are seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists—both SLP-CCC and those with strong school-based backgrounds—to contribute to a supportive educational team during the 2026-27 school year. This contract assignment will begin approximately in early September 2026 and conclude in early June 2027, according to the school calendar. There are currently 2-3 positions open, and while onsite services are preferred, virtual roles may become available closer to the start of the assignment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in New York
- Previous experience delivering SLP services in a school setting
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with a strong team mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with school and professional standards
- Provide support and expertise in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
