Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Active or pending state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with pediatric populations or in school settings is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Initiative and flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and school needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnostics, and therapeutic interventions for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct regular progress monitoring and update goals as needed
- Work closely with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain timely and accurate records according to school and compliance standards
- Serve as a resource to staff and students, offering strategies for speech and language development
