Qualifications and Experience:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress for SLP roles
- State licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP or SLPA
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
- Skilled in IEP development, speech assessments, and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication abilities with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and manage multiple caseloads effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s abilities and needs
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to facilitate student progress and participation
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Provide support and resources to classroom staff, enhancing inclusive learning environments
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing team discussions to advocate for students’ success
