Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) from ASHA
- Active South Carolina teaching certification
Professional Experience & Skills:
- Experience with pediatric populations from preschool through high school
- Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and IEP processes
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Support families and educators in understanding students’ needs and treatment goals
