School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Elgin, Illinois

Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Possession of current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain appropriate certification
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to create inclusive, language-rich learning environments
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress, assessment outcomes, and treatment plans in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, contributing expertise to support student achievement and compliance
- Offer staff training and consultative support for effective classroom communication strategies
- Adapt interventions and materials to meet diverse linguistic and cultural student backgrounds
