School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Elgin, Illinois

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Recent experience in a K-12 school or educational setting
- Demonstrated skills in assessment, intervention, and service delivery for school-aged children
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite speech-language therapy to students in a transitional program
- Deliver group and individual sessions aimed at enhancing communication, language, and social skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and report outcomes in a timely manner
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
- Maintain clear and positive communication with caregivers and educational staff
Role Details:
- Onsite position near Elgin, IL
- Schedule runs June 1st through June 25th, Monday through Thursday
- Working hours: 7:30am - 1:30pm (students present 8am - 1pm)
- Approximately 24 hours per week
- Provide support in a structured transitional program designed to bridge learning for students during the early summer weeks
