This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is based in Des Plaines, IL, serving a high school student population through the remainder of the school year. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for high school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitor and document student performance and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Provide consultative support and education regarding communication disorders
Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged populations, preferably high school students
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45 students effectively
- Flexibility to work full-time hours during school sessions
