SLP in Elberton, GA
Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication and learning as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist working on a contract basis for the next school year. Serving a dynamic K-12 population, your primary focus will be with middle and high school students, with additional opportunities to collaborate on MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) initiatives at the elementary level. You’ll work within a dedicated team environment, engaging with educators and families to foster positive student outcomes.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Georgia SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain before the start date)
- Preferred experience in educational or pediatric SLP settings
- Ability to deliver effective therapy to adolescents, with knowledge of age-appropriate interventions
- Interest or experience in MTSS and cross-disciplinary collaboration
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Adaptability and professional integrity working with diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy primarily to middle and high school students; support MTSS efforts at the elementary level
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to tailor interventions and ensure student growth
- Maintain documentation in compliance with school, state, and federal requirements
- Offer consultative support for MTSS teams at the elementary campus
