Key Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for SLP in New Jersey (or the ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Flexibility and professionalism in collaborating with teachers, faculty, and families
- Preference given to SLP-CCCs; consideration for Clinical Fellows without district supervision
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat students with a variety of communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to best support student success
- Develop tailored intervention plans and provide direct therapy
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
