Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, particularly school-aged children
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, interventions, and IEP processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services to children with various speech-language disorders
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to monitor progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and required reports
- Attend IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions
- Educate school staff and parents on communication strategies for the classroom and home
