Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience within a pediatric or school-based environment is highly valued
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to promote students’ communication growth in the classroom and beyond
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required compliance documentation
- Offer support and guidance to educators on strategies for classroom communication
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide informative input on student progress
