A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available near East Waterboro, ME, focusing on school-based support for elementary students. Grade Levels: Elementary (1–2 campuses)
Travel: Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between assigned sites

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and evaluations
  • Deliver direct therapy services tailored to individual student needs
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student progress
  • Manage timely progress reporting and thorough documentation using the district’s specialized education system (training provided)
  • Support students utilizing AAC devices, applying specialized knowledge and experience

Qualifications:

  • Active Maine SLP license required
  • Demonstrated experience with AAC devices
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel
