School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Durham, North Carolina

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state license or eligibility to obtain one
- Bilingual language ability (Spanish/English or another relevant language)
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered therapy
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, both in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support students’ goals
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Advocate for students’ speech and language needs in the school setting
