You'll primarily focus on evaluations and case management, providing occasional therapy as needed within elementary and some middle school settings.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Texas SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Ability to handle both monolingual and bilingual caseloads
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations and managing cases
- Commitment to cultural competence and equitable student support
- Familiarity with IEP process and collaboration with educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Manage caseload focused on evaluations, eligibility, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student plans
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions when required by caseload needs
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Serve a diverse population, including both monolingual and bilingual students
- Support elementary and middle school students, helping them achieve communication milestones
