School Speech Language Pathologist - Dumfries, Virginia

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Virginia
- SLP experience in school settings (preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and part of a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to complete VA Dept. of Social Services background check and TB test promptly
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students in a school caseload (ages and assignment details provided at placement)
- Conduct individualized and group sessions, addressing speech, language, and communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement student-centered therapy plans
- Participate in meetings, assessments, progress reports, and IEP development
- Complete documentation efficiently, with some responsibilities handled remotely
- Engage in both in-person and virtual service delivery via an accessible hybrid model
