Key Qualifications:
- Active GA SLP License and GA Educator Certificate (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to individual learning needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students across assigned schools (locations to be determined over summer)
- Assess students’ communication abilities and develop targeted, evidence-based IEP goals
- Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student plans
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, progress, and service delivery
- Deliver both individual and group therapy services
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing expertise on speech and language development
