Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in Ohio (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in schools, especially at the elementary, middle, or high school level, preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and effective collaboration with educational staff and families
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage time and caseload efficiently in a fast-paced school environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address identified needs and facilitate academic participation
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEPs
- Maintain organized documentation of all assessments, therapy sessions, and progress notes
- Provide guidance and educational resources to teachers, families, and other staff members
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapt flexibility as you support students across multiple grade levels and learning environments
