This role runs immediately through June 4th, following a dependable school schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:15pm (7.25 hours daily). You’ll spend three days weekly at one site in Lawrence and two days in Bangor, providing continuity and care across different settings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY candidates welcome
- Previous experience supporting pediatric or K-12 school populations preferred
- Comfortable working solely in-person, supporting students with special education needs
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary education teams, families, and outside agencies
- Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and data tracking
- Conduct informal and formal assessments to guide programming
- Participate in student staffing meetings and IEP development
