Speech Language Pathologist in Dowagiac, MI

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active State of Michigan SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in school settings is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering student growth and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ communication abilities to determine need for speech and language services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services across a diverse caseload
- Maintain thorough documentation and collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team consultations
Assignment Details:
- Immediate start, continuing through June 5, 2026
- Full-time, 5 days per week; 7.5 hours each day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Serve within one of four local school districts
- Caseload primarily ages 3–10, though the spectrum served is birth to 26
