This role offers a 37.5-hour workweek delivering comprehensive speech and language services to support diverse learners, including those with moderate to severe disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and provide speech-language therapy addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive and expressive language delays.
- Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments as required.
- Prepare clear, detailed reports outlining assessment results and observations.
- Develop and maintain individualized education program (IEP) objectives tailored to each student.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor and support student progress.
- Work confidently with students ages 2 to 22 with moderate to severe disabilities.
Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for a Delaware state license as an SLP.
- Experience working with moderate to severe disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility and problem-solving skills to adapt to individual student needs.
